What is the difference between global limit and card limit?

• Globallimite: The maximum spending limit for all cards within a customer relationship (main and additional cards). This limit is checked with every payment and is shown on your statement.
• Kartenlimite: The monthly spending limit for each individual card. It determines how much you can spend per card during the billing period.

Impact on payments

• Each payment is checked against both limits.
• You can never spend more than the card limit per card, and never more than the global limit in total.
