What powers does the authorized representative have?

The authorized representative may request information regarding customer data held by Viseca, invoice details, transactions or related disputes, authorized and declined requests, bonus programs, and all correspondence. In addition, the representative is authorized to terminate the card account registered in the name of the principal. If necessary, the representative may also block the card and request a replacement card. However, the power of attorney does not include the right to transfer card credit to a bank account or to apply for a new credit card from Viseca’s portfolio in the name of the principal.

The authorized representative may perform all actions permitted by this power of attorney for their own benefit or for the benefit of third parties. The signatures as well as all other declarations and actions of the authorized representative are fully binding on the principal. The principal certifies the authenticity of the authorized representative’s signature and accepts the validity of the power of attorney until it is revoked in writing.

It is expressly stipulated that this power of attorney does not expire upon the loss of legal capacity or the death of the principal, but shall remain in effect (Swiss Code of Obligations Art. 35).
